missmiah: (Been Better)

I?

Am sick.

But not the normal sick I recognize with the tummy and the TMI bathroom moments, oh no, this is something new and creative and annoying.

All last week I knew something was weird, I had no energy, could barely drag myself to my computer to spend the entire day working at my desk - and let me remind you that when you're so out of it and tired that it's difficult to prop yourself in front of a computer and randomly type things or move the mousey, all in your own home, there's a problem.

Thursday night-Friday morningish I go to bed. And other than a very brief check in on Friday night and another on Saturday, I didn't get out of bed all weekend. I'm only out right now because [livejournal.com profile] rewil called to let me know that some pre-writing for a big event needed to be reposted - which I had asked her to inform me of so that I could pass on my code word or just get my lazy ass out of bed for to repost.

So... yeah, I'm feeling sick in a weird sense.

Constantly tired, could sleep forever kind of tired, no energy. Always hungry but not hungry enough to get up to eat so I haven't been eating more than once a day. Head aches. So cold all of the time. Today my tummy decided it was feeling neglected so it decided to get in on the act but that could just be female things since I'm sure it's close to that time as well.

Heck, I even checked my blood sugar if that tells you how annoyed I am by this (seemed a bit high but then I remembered I'd eaten a sammich just thirty minutes before).

Anywho, back to the point of all of this. I've been essentially off-line for the most part and don't know how much longer this will be the case.

In other news - since I'm not asleep all of the time I'm in bed I have watched many movies and worked on knitting, stockinette stitch is my new bitch and I've started work on the SCARF.

I need a little progress bar to show how far I've gotten. Should show how often I had to restart, at what point did the cats get ahold of it and how many hours did it take to fix the damage, things like that.

Also - been having the oddest dreams.

Had one that I may someday turn into fanfic involving little compact/clamshell size scrying pools becoming the Wizarding equivalent of cell phones but still being in the developmental phase and only working for connecting to one person (the one you have the bits to scry on of course) and Snape and an OC are both working for the company doing the developing... Yeah, I must have had something odd for dinner that night, I know.

Then there was the Alan Rickman, circa Love Actually, and that chick from Fargo and some other random guy who was sort of being haunted by the ghost(? perhaps it was a random personality?) of this other lady who he had dated/married/something. Rickman was his brother and they owned and operated a family run lawn decoration store in a small town. Fargo chick was Rickman's ex/never an ex cause she put him in the friend zone and he wasn't pleased about it? person. And there was a new transient-like lady in town who was passing through, car broke down, decided to get a job to pay to have it fixed and ends up at the lawn place during the after-season Christmas sale were everything is really cheap so it's spring but the whole place is decorated for the winter holidays and... anyway, the point is that Bimbette hears about psycho brother and decides that the least she can do for the two sweet brothers that hired her and gave her a room to stay in is try to help psycho by getting him involved with a living breathing female but he's having none of that and in "wacky" hijinks she ends up in the ER at one point and other things and has to be rescued by older brother Rickman and they eventually fall in love much to the angst of Not-An-Ex Fargo lady. Vaguely Sabrina-esque but with more porn star boobs for some reason.

I blame that one on Hamburglar Helper.
