First, let me say YAY that [livejournal.com profile] rewil is here for her visit. W00t.

So, this last week I have been running around doing the spring cleaning/we're about to have company spaz dance and yelling things like "We need to move the dryer and clean up the lint behind it"... erm, wtf?

Seriously, I have lost my mind.

I would like to remind everyone that I had my sister down to visit just a month or so ago and at that point my cleaning efforts were something like "We should vacuum or something. Maybe wash that dish."

Perhaps it started because Rewil is allergic to the cats so I wanted to try to de-fur at least one room sort of, but then it just ballooned from there.

I was actually disappointed that I had not had time to reorganize the storage shelves in the laundry nook. *headdesk*

Anywho - cleaning is mostly done for a very long time (we still want to clean up the dog's bathroom and turn it back into a guest bath at some point) and I have a house guest to pamper. Pamper in the ask her to help me set up a rock garden, retile my bathroom, cook for us sense.

Toodles.

Ha ha. I'm going the opposite way; I've had people over almost every week for a while and done only light cleaning (give the bathroom a once-over, vacuum the floor if I think people will be sitting on it). In fact, I had people over for movie night on Thursday with a huge fricking bed propped up on the wall in the living room, how's that for classy? But now that my sister is coming, I'm all about deep cleaning. Maybe it's because she's bringing my BIL with her. They're very neat people. Hard to believe that I share DNA with her, sometimes.
