No actual news to unveil. Husband gone. Cats fine. Dog fine. Considered a trip to KS. Talked self out of trip. Reconsidering the trip as we speak.

I do want to show off the spiff new icon beeform made. She says that anyone can take it, if they want. Although, once I get this current roll of film developed, she's going to add a pic of cptn_oblivious in camocrap. Sort of a before and after, when you think about it. He looks totally different now, dropped at least forty pounds, lost the beard and the longer-than-mine-length hair.

Did you miss his long hair? My husband had long hair for years. I needed an adjustment period when he cut it off.

Long Hair

I did miss it. We chopped most of it off (seventeen inches) a week or so before he went in to service so he could have a "training" haircut. And this way we were able to donate his hair to Locks of Love. I didn't see him without the beard until the morning he left.

I didn't recognize him, at all.

Oh...that must have been sad-the not recognizing him. My husband kept his facial hair-I think his is exactly the same as your husbands was. He actually got kicked off a job once for refusing to shave it. Luckily his corporate people stood behind him in his decision on that.

I'll keep you and your husband in my thoughts. I cant even imagine what its like with him gone.
