Much less hair

Some of you may remember the horrorshow that was my hair lately, ever since that dye job back in March that killed it. I'm still slightly peeved that I spent $150 getting my hair brutally butchered. But that's neither here nor there.

I managed to keep most of the length (thanks to the work of a stylist I trusted, another $200 bucks and several several several deep conditionings) mostly intact for Midget's wedding, but I finally caved yesterday and in a fit of melancholy I detoured at the salon in *gasp* Volde-Mort and paid a very nice tattooed gentleman $20 to cut off eight inches of hair.

Just gone.

What's left barely comes to my chin, but I think we managed to get most of the damaged hair so it's worth it. And has DH pointed out, it will grow back eventually. I just sort of miss my hair.

Aw. I know what that's like (missing hair). I hope it will grow back quickly. At least what you do have is nice! And it's probably somewhat cooler this way.

From what I remember of your face (five-second "hello" at a movie with Bee) I bet your hair looks cute chin-length.

Was that PoA? I watched it on DVD the other day (Mr. Bee'd never seen) and was completely drawing a blank on who I'd seen it with. Was your mom there or was that a different movie? I might be thinking of Van Helsing?

It may very well have been PoA. I don't rightly remember. I just remember that we went and were standing by the concessions when someone ran up to say hi to you and I thought "Oh, that must be Miah!" and it was.

I concur with Bee. We desperately need photographic evidence. If I now have longer hair than you, I really need to know. I don't know why but I do.

*hugs* you have my sympathy. I lost 14 inches of hair back in September. It was very dramatic and it was a good thing I had a couple of glasses of wine in me at the time. CAN$90 to fix (several months later...I needed to mourn) but like others have said, it grows.
