Since a ton of people have figured out what is wrong with me already (at least one thing at any rate) - a good chunk of them before I figured it out, annoyingly enough - Captain and I decided we've been keeping mum long enough.

Amusingly, most of the people we have already told all claimed they already suspected but didn't want to say anything in case they were wrong, which is totally understandable.

Anyway ...

Yep, by the end of the year there should be a mini-MissMiah (or mini-Captain) in the world. We are just short of the end of the first trimester, but Mom and Midget were going to a family gathering yesterday and Captain and I agreed that she could tell the rest of the family then, so we might as well blurt it out here and on facebook too.

I'd like to mention my due date, but we've been having a bit of difficulty figuring that out. I've been given three so far - two were "firm" and the third is tentative with another sonogram (my third) due in the next couple weeks in an effort to figure out if I'm closer to Date Number 2 or Date Number 3. Luckily those two are only a week apart, so we're pretty sure we've got it narrowed down to the first half of November at some point.

Which means I'm going to be pregnant the entirety of a Georgia summer.

Can you feel my joy?

:-D Wooooo hoooooo! Sorry that you'll have an uncomfortable summer, but I have a feeling it will be worth it in the end! Congrats again to you and the Captain!

How great for you. Now it's going to sound corny, but I did suspect it too the first time you mentioned feeling ill, but then you went on to talk about medicines and having that changed around and totally didn't put two and two together there, so I thought that the illness was probably some side-effect to the medicines. Just shows that sometimes the obvious solution really is the correct one. :p

Congratulations!

The sudden nausea visitations were a big big clue to those of us who've been there :D

May all go smoothly

Congratulations! Though the "pregnant all summer" part does sound pretty daunting.

I don't know how Nebraska summers measure up to Georgia ones, but I was preggers with Tif during the summer and while it's no picnic trying to stay cool, I'd take it over being preggers in the winter (like I was with the boys) cause I was always afraid I'd slip on ice and go BOOM, ya know?
