The continuing saga of my sleepy times deficit

First off, why doesn't spell check work in the subject line of LJ posts? I keep having to copy words down into this post box thing because I KNOW that's not how they're spelled and then retype them in the subject line - ie, saga is not really spelled soga no matter how many times I type it that way and then think "That's not right. Is it?"

Spoiler alert. It isn't.

So, shortly after my last post, I forced myself to walk away from the precious Internets and passed out, roast beefy juice hand and all, and slept for roughly five hours. I literally woke up five minutes before Captain called to tell me he was coming home.

Conveniently, that was right around the same time the roast was done boiling or whatever crockpots do, so food times didn't have to wait much past Captain coming home and changing out of his uniform and checking his e-mail.

By the way - am I unjustified in being annoyed with the Cthulhu RP group (yes, spell check, Cthulhu is a real word. Don't ask me why I can spell Cthulhu and not soga saga tonight, I just can. Don't judge.) for picking nights to game and then canceling the day before and saying "oh, let's see about this night instead" over and over for the last three weeks? I mean, seriously. I know I traditionally have almost no social life and a wide open schedule, but then we joined that Board Gamers Meetup group and now I actually have things to schedule in my day planner other than keeping track of the dog's monthly heartworm meds.

Anyway, back to sleeping. So, I managed to keep my eyes open until nine and then we went to bed and I immediately had to remind Captain that even though he'd had the bed all to himself the last two nights, he couldn't actually sleep in the middle tonight because he had to share. And then I passed out for an hour and now I'm awake. Again.

WHY?!!!!!

Also I am hungry, but I am not going to eat anything at midnight o' three because I am Going Back To Bed! In a minute. I swear.
