So.

Yes.

Right.

I had a to do list of two items for today (well, it was a bit longer if you count the things I'm supposed to do everyday like medicate the cat and the dog and myself and eat and breath and try not to drown in the tub and all that).

So far I've managed to do neither.

I sat down to work on my chosen prompt for celebrate_sshg and ended up plotting out a scene for a completely unrelated ss/hg/lm fic that I've been dabbling in on and off for awhile. Of course, I didn't actually get that scene written, either.

The other thing I was supposed to do was learn how to play World of Warcraft (don't judge). Last night I picked a class and a race and even a name, but I haven't actually downloaded anything or logged in to anything or done anything to start playing. Mostly, I read some stuff about picking classes (and races and names) and insisted that I needed to work on writing my fic before I got too involved. (Someone is waiting for me to join so we can go run off and kill things together and loot bodies and quest and other things I've forgotten already, but which might eventually end up with my character being followed around by something small and cute that may or may not have some awesome dance moves. I hope.)

Per my earlier paragraph, you can see how far along I got on that item.

In other news, things happened around the house that I'm not allowed to talk about yet, so I don't know why I bothered mentioning that.

Well, I did manage to get the cat medicated, and I did not drown in the tub, so the day is not a complete waste, right?
