I stayed up until nearly five this morning, knitting a pair of horns.
You know how sometimes it's just better not to ask? Trust me, there will be pictures later, I'm sure.
Anywho, Captain got up around four thirty, I made sure to remind him of the things he needed to do today, I set the timer on the crock pot for ten hours, and then I went to bed.
When I woke up this afternoon around two thirty, the house was oddly quiet.
Too quiet.
By the time I made it to the living room, the AC kicked on and things sounded normal again, but I was still a bit weirded out.
With good reason, it seems. Some of the pictures from my bookshelves were in the middle of the living room floor.
AND, weirdest of all, the crock pot was counting down from nine hours and fifty five minutes.
That's right, somehow it had been reset to start the ten hour count down again.
It hadn't been off all this time because it was still hot. There hadn't been a power outage because nothing else had been reset. And no, the cats couldn't have done it (that was Captain's suggestion).
I called to make sure he hadn't come home in the middle of the afternoon, he hadn't. Then he had me check all the doors to make sure they were still locked, but seriously, who breaks into a house to reset a crock pot?
So... whoooo hoooo whoooo spoookkkyyyy.
