Since I finished the latest battle bonnet yesterday (see ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
the_evil_gnome for picture evidence) I decided to treat myself to something I've had my eye on for a few weeks.
My very own embossing heat gun thingy whatsit.
It is pink. It makes hot air.
Tonight it made annoying little bits of goldish glitter turn into shiny, shiny goldish embossed background patterns that only smell a little bet melty eww.
Tomorrow, it shall do this again. And then, perhaps, if I am in a daring mood, it shall do its magic with bits of coppery glitter on two additional bits of background paper and I shall end up with four - FOUR! Mwha ha ha ha! - finished squares of 8x8 paper that curl up and have to be flattened out but look ohhhhh so shiny.
Did I mention the shiny? Because I adore the shiny.
Of course, in order to get to the stage where I use the heat gun thingy whatsit, I had to go buy some ink, some stamps, some embossing powder, some glitter (because what's the point of having all those stamps if I can't use them with some glitter too?), stamp cleaner, a brush thing, and a funnel tray so I can not waste all my new powder/glitter on my first project.
Retail therapy/rewards to self for finishing projects - gotta love it.
