Captain sent me a package that arrived on Saturday, and it contained birthday presents. For me!
My birthday isn't until the fifth, but he wanted to make sure they arrived before the day. Originally, he wanted me to wait to open the package, but I've been a bit down in the dumps lately and he asked me to go ahead and open it when I got it so I could read his letter.
He made a sterling silver bracelet, and sent a pretty carved wooden box for my perfume bottles.
And most importantly, he wrote me a letter.
Two more months.
