Having a craptastic day. Not in the mood to go into details. Looking for a distraction for the weekend.
I've heard some wonderful things about "Tyger, Tyger" today and realized that I don't think I've ever actually had a chance to sit down and read it.
And then I could'nt find it - admittedly, my search consisted of checking the top five on the first page of the google search before someone rang the doorbell and the phone repair guy was all "Oh, crap, sorry to wake you up-" which, btw, reminded me that although I'd been up for a solid hour I still had the bed head going on and was in my sleeping shorts and a comfy shirt and no shoes standing outsides in the driveway sort of puzzled as to why someone would knock and ring the doorbell and then disappear only to reappear on the side of the house when I went to investigate "but I need to know if you actually have a dog?" See, I got smart and put a huge black/red sign up on the front fence all "BEWARE OF DOG" and just left the "because he will demand pettings and food" unwritten, and apparently phone repair man didn't want to lose his kneecaps, which I can totally understand. So I assured him that we really did have a vicious beastie but he was currently not in the yard so phone man could go about his phone repairing for the neighbors duties.
And I got completely, and utterly off track, didn't I?
Right. So. Help a depressed, about to say goodbye to her husband for the next few weeks and dealing with it poorly with fic and chocolate stuffed oreos girl out - Bloodcultoffreud's "Tyger, Tyger" - a nice link, please?
