So, we sent Colonel Brandon to the vet today to get his yearly rabies/cooties/borderwhatsit shots and to ask about these dark marks on his belly that occasionally look infected.
Turns out they are dog nipples. Inverted dog nipples. WTF? And not all of them are like that, just the ones near the top. It's not a problem because he's a boy dog, the vet said, but still... a little creepy weird.
In other news Captain came home with the news that "We're deploying at some point, but we don't know when. Or where. Or how long." Possibly in November/December but that's not official. All I can be sure of is that at some point this year he's leaving again probably.
