I sort of forgot I have a personal LJ for awhile.
Let's see, what have I done since my last real update?
Put together some Legos. That was fun. Eventually I'm going to have to buy a second folding table to put the rest of them on as I'm only on set six(?) and the first table is full and there are many, many more where that came from. I've even begun rearranging and playing with the extra people as I find them. Spare Peeves? Slap some of Dumbledore's hair on it and call her Myrtle. See where I'm going with this?
And yes, eventually I shall go out and find a camera for picspam.
Speaking of tables - I have a new office. Captain pulled the carpet out of the stinky room and it is no longer stinky and then my beautiful new desk showed up - well, half of it. A week later the other half showed up. But the important thing is I own a pretty pretty desk with a built in bookshelf, or as the furniture peeps call it: A library. (It's five shelves. It's a bookshelf. I'm sorry, I don't care how snooty you want to sound so you can charge me an extra two hundred bucks {which they did} it's a bookshelf.)
Midget came up for a visit. Showed off my pretty Villianess soaps for her her to sniff and now she wants me to order some more for her.
Heard nothing back on my thyroid bloodwork so I'm going to be optimistic for once and assume no news is good news.
I'm pretty sure it's actually impossible not to start a game of Civilization, tell yourself you'll only play for a bit and then realize you've been up all night sacking cities and building wonders like a crazed meglomaniac.
That's pretty much it unless you want to be bored to death with tales of the very small Sunday D&D game. ("Let's eat the goblin. I bet it tastes like chicken.")
