Have decided to learn how to cross stitch so that I can make a present for Christmas. Cause I'm odd.
In the last three days I have written a chapter for Fun and Games, wrote my 200 word drabble for
hp_halloween, and written two long posts for Myrtle at
bw_afterglow.
I called the county voter people and requested absentee ballots for DH and I so that we can actually vote (nearly thirty years old and this will be my first time as a voter, never really cared before, but this time I'm cranky), scheduled appointments for the cats to get declawed before we leave for OK, visited the local utility and phone peeps to take care of bill payments and shutting off times, took my Ren Fest garb in for drycleaning, faxed my 401K forms into some random place in the hopes of getting them to give me money, and managed to refrain from telling the annoying housepainter guy that if he bangs on my bedroom window between the hours of seven a.m. and ten a.m. again I will make him eat the entire contents of that can of paint.
I have not done anything in regards to packing the house.
Not Snape, but just as good.

I like to cross stitch. I find it very relaxing. And when you're finished, you have a neat little something. One year, I cross stitched little 3" X 3" designs and bought those cheapie clear plastic frames and some magnets and made everybody at work refrigerator magnets. I could usually make one or two each night (depending on the design) while I watched television.

Year before that it was hand painted lawn gnomes.
Arts and crafts are fun!
