I gave up.
Hit the PX and Hobby Lobby (one would think that Hobby Lobby would have a friggin' Learn How to Knit Kit, but NOOOOOO).
The only thing I bought was a cheap DVD for me (present to myself for the trauma of shopping, cause I'm spoiled like that) of the original War of the Worlds - including the Orson Well's Radio Broadcast - Invading Martians are Luv - and another present for my dad. Sadly I had already finished all the shopping for my dad so now I have this extra present. I think I'll either see if Sis wants to give it or perhaps hold it until next year.
I know what I want to get mom, however Hobby Lobby is being a sphincter about it - see the aforementioned Knitting Kit. It's what she asked for, it should be simple enough to find. I'm just going to have to do some digging, thank goodness for the internet.
*sigh* I was hoping that aimlessly wandering around might inspire me as to what to get the Sis and the BIL but no such luck. I thought maybe I could think about getting them something cool together but I'm still coming up with nothing and my requests for a Christmas list have been met with ebil silence. NOt that I've actually remembered to send her one either so I can't complain.
Now, do I risk certain annoyance and brave the mall or Volde-Mart (but not the Volde-Mart from before) or give up for the day?
