Blood sugar can be effected by stress levels.
Therefore a reading of 330 at 2:15 in the morning doesn't necessarily mean a trip to the ER. It can mean waiting and taking another reading in an hour.
Also, I learned that at 2:15 in the morning I can't get blood out of a finger for shit. Which probably didn't help the spazzing.
