Day three of smelling... odd.
March Hare (Mad Tea Party)- A twisted teatime tart: apricot and sweet clove Holy crap I love this! Seriously, out of the bottle, on my skin, all over my clothes, whatever - this is liquid bliss. It's sweet and makes my mouth water. I wouldn't be caught dead eating an apricot in real life but it smells so good. Tragically, a few hours later it's all "NO!!! The joy is gone!" It's okay, but not really something I would say I liked. Tempted to refresh it just to see if that helps. I think I'm going to spring for a 5ml and just make sure I refresh when the scent starts to go completely meh apricot. Or perhaps I could looking into a scent locket or something.

Catherine (Diabolus)- Named for the ambitious, vengeful poisoner Catherine deMedici, who used perfumes to perform her dark deeds. A sinful blend of orange blossom, rosemary and rose... allegedly the exact perfume she utilized in her work. The rosemary is all I smell, oddly it reminds me of an astringent or possibly sunscreen and I don't know why. Once on I can catch a hint of orange blossom, but the rosemary is still center stage (and slightly irritating). I thought I'd love orange blossom and rose and this is very much meh on me after awhile. I wanted to love this. It's based on deMedici's poison perfume, how could I not love it? Apparently throw in some rosemary and all bets are off.

Highwayman (Bewitching Brews)- Stand and deliver! Vetiver with gardenia, blood red rose, night-blooming jasmine, a dash of cinnamon and a faint hint of leather. "Hello, I'm a ginormous gardenia and I'm going to engulf your head and smother you." That fades (thankfully) and something sharper and not so floral comes out - leather? And what is Vetiver? Is it something I should fear? It's sort of nice after awhile. Jasmine and rose, but not girly. rewil's and was so sad because I pretty much hated it in the bottle (and I didn't get any of the gardenia that time). It dries down to something nice and vaguely flowery without being girly. I wonder what cptn_oblivious or hrhjahi would think of it. *I looked up vetiver, not something scary. Good to know.*

Storm (Bewitching Brews - Discontinued)- A invigorating, tempestuous citrus and floral blend. Out of the bottle: I've smelled this somewhere before and I can't remember where and that is going to drive me crazy. Sea Breeze? NyQuil? Licorice? What is this? It's none of those yet... it sort of is. Also, I don't like it. On my skin it's better, much better. I still couldn't tell you what it is, but it's... clean. I started out hating it but it dried down really nice. If it was still possible to order a bottle I might have considered it.
Next up: Delirium, Katharina, Severin and Vice
