But this time I have a plan.
I'm staying awake so that I can go to Volde-Mart to buy the groceries I've needed since a week and a half ago. This whole sleeping all day thing makes it really hard to shop when one refuses to brave the after work or weekend crowd.
Today, I will stay up until nine, go shopping and then come home and pass out for the rest of the day. And by pass out I mean wake up ever hour and a half when the dog thinks he has to go outside to stand around looking puzzled until one of us gives up.
Instead of sleeping, I finished my assigned Lightning broadcast (the one I'd been putting off for two weeks), posted a few comments on Lightning and a thread on Afterglow. Did some photoshop work. rewil had given me forever ago. Made some phone calls, talked to friends on IM. Goofed around.
After talking toperkygothess and alex_shultz and hrhjahi, I've decided to skip the trip to KS this weekend. Sorry, Beck. Perky couldn't get off work and let me know I'd probably only get to see her for five minutes. And then Alex mentioned that it would be much cheaper if he just mailed the 17 lbs bag of dog food to me than it would be for me to make the 900 mile round trip and put the cats and dog in the kennel. And then His Royal Highness mentioned that he was coming to visit in September.
So, instead of coming up for two days this weekend, I will save and go up for a week or so near the end of September (I think).
I'm also trying to decide if I should celebrate my birthday at the end of September or the end of October. My actual date of birth is sort of out of the question. I've got Renfest/possible visit from His Highness in September, Halloween in October.
