Have made the decision.

Am moving to Oklahoma. But if one of those sick, creepy, cannibalistic-looking prairie dog Mother F'ers comes near me... I'm moving back.

Gah. Well, you will be maintaining an online presence, yes?

Oh, and how much room do you have on your hard drive...?

Hmmm

Since I'm doing that freaky, weird thing DH asks me to do once in a blue moon... you know, defragging the hard drive, it looks like I've got just over 30 gig left.

Where has all the space gone?

Also, yeah, I'll totally be on-line. No job means mucho free time.

At least in theory.

Woot!

Was looking for stuff like this. All I could find was realtor links that had no listings what so ever. Wankers.

Plus, one sent an e-mail today saying that it was too early to be looking for a place for late October. What?!

It's late September now. I'm looking at three weeks before graduation, when exactly would be the right time to start looking?

Re: Woot!

Well, now, unless you're a crazy "We don't want no business or moneys here, no sirree"-type real-estate person.

Also, Lawton's supposed to have about the same population as Lawrence, yet its newspaper's Web site is more appropriate for, like, Oberlin. Weirdness.

Re: Woot!

And Lawton was home to at least part of the Suicide Squad spinoff miniseries Deadshot, featuring one of my favorite characters from the DC Universe.

And The Kents, the twelve-issue maxi-series detailing the life of Jonathan (Clark's dad) Kent's ancestors in settling Kansas during the prelude to and through the end of the Civil War, was originally pitched as "The Lawtons," featuring Deadshot's ancestry, which at least makes more sense.

That was a bad sentence, but y'all're with me, yeh?
