Okay, technically not really.
I just got back (over an hour ago, I've been RPing, give me a break) from my second viewing of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which seems to be getting better the more I watch it, most likely due to knowing when to close my eyes and listen to Alan Rickman. I also talked Alex into sitting through House of Wax with me, which was good because I never would have been able to sit all by myself in that dark theater. Seriously, all by myself. We were the only two people in the entire place. I almost feel bad because the projectionist/movie guy had to start the movie just for us and we both had free movie passes.
Not bad enough to not stay for the late show, but I still felt bad. I paid an ungodly sum of money for a Diet Pepsi and some kind of cookie dough flavored things out of guilt so I consider us even.
It's been a very hectic weekend. Midget's shower was on Saturday (Midget being my sister who is only two inches shorter than I am, but those two inches are more than enough). I think it went well. Jane't and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rewil did so very much to make the shower a reality and I pretty much just ran around cutting fruit and paying for things. As I do.
Got to use my fruit cutting skillz on Sunday helping to make the fruit salad at Alex's.
And my computer is being a bitch. For some reason the thing is reluctant to power up, so now that I've got it running, I don't want to turn it off. But I'll have to when I leave Alex's tomorrow since I can't very well run an extension cord all the way across KS, can I?
I need a laptop so very, very much.
