Sis should be coming down to visit in a few days. *keeps fingers crossed as it's been weeks since I've talked face to face with someone who wasn't wearing a Pizza Hut uniform*
I was planning on driving back up to KS for the weekend after this... but now, not so much. It's a holiday weekend which makes it a double edged sword for me. On the one side - I don't want to spend the holiday alone in this hellish pit of red dirted craptasticness; on the other - holidays are usually spent with one's family, which means I would be an added strain on whomever was unfortunate enough to volunteer to house me and the shetland pony pretending to be my dog.
Alone and pathetic or a creepy, stalkerish annoyance. Hmmm... difficult decision.
Have very politely spared you all the seven paragraph whine about how much I hate living out here. Trust me, I typed it, it wasn't worth reading.
So... because I need something to do during the long hours of the night when even the cats refuse to talk to me...

Seriously, I'm willing to make an effort. A crappy, sucky, half-assed effort, but an effort never the less. And my icon making skillz have improved to the point that... well, sometimes I can actually get them to come out as a square.
