Writing and Spiderman

• I just sent chapter five of Fun and Games out to Beta!Beck to be proofed.
  
• Have started chapter 19 of Hidden Emotions (I know, it's been six months since I worked on that thing).
  
• Have started an answer to the Bound Challenge at WIKTT - first chapter isn't due until sometime in September and I've finished the Prologue (where the potion accident happens) already, so I'm not doing too bad with that one.
  
• And Finally, have managed to get detention for Hermione in my attempt at shiv5468's Proper Detention Challenge.
  

Hope to get farther along over the holiday weekend, although it sounds like I'll be chauffeuring people around all weekend, so maybe not.

Also, have turned Jane't over to the dark side. She heard me talking about Shiv's Detention challenge and decided she wanted to try her hand at it. Not only does Miss Jane't not read (other than the few pieces I can get her to read of my work) or write fanfic as a rule, she gets "creeped out" by Snape/Hermione. I reassured her that the age of consent in the UK is usually 16 (did admit it was really 18 with someone in a position of authority like a teacher) and that Hermione would be seventeen or approaching eighteen by the end of seventh year. Told her to work with the "Time Turner added a few months to Hermione's life" angle if those extra months before the eighteenth birthday really weirded her out.

I've made a fanboy out of Jason, I'm getting Jane't to work on fanfiction. Where will it end? Hahahahahahaha *cough* ahem.

Also, Kim called me at work to remind me that I'm supposed to be her "Date" to the midnight showing of Spiderman 2 tonight. I'd forgotten.

Sad thing is this will be the closest thing to a real date I've had in over a year. I wonder if DH would get upset if I started going out with friends more? I'll have to ask him next time we talk on the phone.
