Work was barely tolerable today. Classes start tomorrow so the students are back in town and demanding books. I swear, I was never that bad when I was in college. Was I?

Went to Applebee's with Jane't and Beck. Had a bit to drink. [livejournal.com profile] rewil had to beta the first five pages of the next chapter of PO. Five pages (actually, closer to seven counting the stuff in my notebook) and still no smut. I tell you, this plotless smut writing is more difficult than I thought. Hope to have Chapter Four finished and ready for [livejournal.com profile] rewil by Sunday.

Ended up in Jane't's game room playing 'Suicide Is Not An Option.' You know the game. Who would you rather ... A or B. Had to name it 'Suicide..." when people started choosing death rather than face a hypothetical night with A or B. The game's been a favorite since before Jason lived in the 'Hole' the first time, which was ... what? 96 or 97?

We came up with quite a list.

So, which would you rather?

  • Lumier or Cogsworth?
  • Johnny Rotten or Dee Snyder?
  • William DeFoe or Christopher Walken?
  • Darkness from Legend or the Goblin King?
  • Mr. Wizard or Capt. Kangaroo?
  • Don Knotts or Andy Griffith?
  • Scooby Doo or Jabber Jaws?
  • Ronald McDonald or the Hamburgler?
  • Hanson (all of them) or Ron Jeremy?
  • Gollum or Dobby?
  • Jay or Silent Bob?
  • Ernest Borgnine or Victor Borge?
  • Liza Minelli or David Gest?
  • Severus or Lucius?
  • Tommy Lee or Tommy Lee Jones?
  • Duncan or Methos *He was one of the Four Horsemen. The man knew how to party. That's all I'm saying.*
  • Sam or Frodo?
  • Skipper or Mr. Howell?
  • The Rolling Stones or Aerosmith?

Yep, Dee Snyder. Of course, my decision is based on not wanting to spend the night with Johnny Rotten, more than any need to spend it with Snyder.

Mmm. Dead people

And as of today, the Mr. Wizard/Capt. Kangaroo question becomes a whole lot easier, thanks to the death thing.

Not that the captain was having much pull with the ladies anyway, but there you go.

(Actually, I'd just assumed that Mr. Wizard was dead, but no: live and kicking since 1917. I should enter him into the Dead Pool at MooTangClan. For that matter, I should enter my Dead Pool picks, period. Hmm. Who will die ...)

Re: Mmm. Dead people

True, the Capt. is dead. Long live the Capt. But Mr. Wizard is, like, a hundred years old. Whereas the Capt only died today. That's all I'm saying. *Miah's tongue is planted firmly in her cheek*
