So, my darling, dearest Husband waited until just before one a.m. to tell me that the Check Engine light on the car is back on. The same light that sent us screaming from the car vet a month ago with a thousand dollar estimate. And we were planning on leaving town in the morning for the long weekend.
I probably wouldn't be quite so upset if it just suddenly came on during the ride home tonight ... but no, he noticed it six or seven hours ago ... WHEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
And the cats managed to dent one of the living room lamps while we were gone today.
