Sept. 8 is my last day as a full-time employee at the store. I offered to come back for a few hours, if needed, to ensure that my replacement (which they still haven't started looking for) actually has a clue because I will not be answering my cell phone for questions after that date.

It's going in writing this afternoon.

Maybe you should make yourself available for consulting RE: VARNEYS. Do something like $100/hour billed in 15-minute increments. Anything more than a phone call would be billed for an hour plus any time beyond the first hour. Travel time is billable. That's how our phone system people do it and they seem to be doing well.

Ass.boss told me that she felt qualified to train my replacement so I didn't need to worry about it. WHATEVER! There aren't words to describe just how unlikely I find that scenerio. Really.

I can see it now...Untidy backpacks, lost film, tore up dry cleaning, and no stamps because a monkey will take your place. They don't qualify for minimum wage.

Don't forget the banana skins everywhere, tripping people up and causing accidents.
