The house hunt is still not really going anywhere. I am also not making any progress on packing because I have no boxes with which to pack things. I should probably make some sort of effort on the box front soon.

The biggest problem I've found with making myself bleed three times a day (other than the obvious I Am Making Myself Bleed OMG Needle OMG Blood part) is that I've pretty much limited myself to one side of four fingers due to ease of poking positions and the amount of OUCH involved.

Which was all fine and dandy when I only did this never once or twice a month week. However, now that I'm doing it three times a day, my four fingers really aren't getting enough time to heal before they're back up in the rotation. I don't know if you've taken a good look at the upper tip of the side of your pointer finger lately, but there isn't a lot of room there. Three, maybe four, stabs and that finger is pretty much covered as far as "comfortable" stabbing places. Any more than that, before the earlier ones have had a chance to heal to the point that I can't see that tiny little dot that means there is a hole there, and the painful factor goes up.

I will be so glad when I have proven my point to New!Doctor Asshat and can stop doing this to myself quite so often. I mean, it's not as if I'm actually learning anything new at this point. I already knew I was diabetic. I already knew that my blood sugar really doesn't get above 135 unless I've eaten in the last few hours EXCEPT for every stinking morning, for no reason that I seem to have any control over at this point. So, that seems to mean that I'm going to have to have another med adjustment. Again.

Yay. /sarcasm.

I mean, it would be different if I were seeing any readings over 200 - or even over 150. But I'm not.

What I am seeing is that after a day with 2 grams of sugar (over the entire day, 24 hours, totally am not making this up, I have it all documented in my phone, for real), my numbers still spike the next morning.

How could that possibly not be frustrating?

In Happy News - my brand new yearly Harry Potter engagement calendar arrived yesterday; and January is already covered in penciled in scribbles. Also, I really can not tell if that should have been a comma or a semi-colon in that last sentence. It is not a simple sentence, I know that one. Crap, brb, looking something up. I think it's all right with the semicolon, because I'm pretty sure it would be a comma splice if I put the comma in? But that may only work when I try to use then as a conjunction, which I apparently do, a lot. Perhaps it is a comma?

OH MY WORD, why is the English punctuation so difficult!?

That's an interabang. I knew that one.

Anyway, on today's To Do list of fun and not at all painful or annoying things:
Making myself bleed - DONE.
Food and pills
Make new To Do List (this time in the phone, ooohhhh technology) - DONE
Make corrections to Soggy Bottom
Randomly pick new fic to start sending to Lariope and send it
Actually write the first scene of the two WIPs I should actually work one NOW rather than "some day"
And finally, watch last weeks episode of Project Runway All Stars, because I'm a week behind

Oh, and I can't forget making some potions and battling people by typing letters OF DEATH on dueling in Pottermore.
