Captain and I ventured North for a week and a half of driving and presents and family and friends and strange TV shows on the History channel and knitting and vegging on the sofa and drinkies and board games and Christmas sleigh dioramas made out of turkey breast bones.
What? I'm pretty sure turkey bone sleighs are a Christmas tradition that goes back centuries all over the world. Or at least the parts that had turkeys centuries ago.
This year's sleigh had a candy theme, with red hots and royal icing and a chocolate santa and a reindeer that pooped rootbeer jelly beans. Strangely enough, I did not make that one. My name hasn't come up in the yearly "Make a Turkey Sleigh" drawing yet, but when it does... I have plans. Oh yes, I have plans.
Captain received a mace. I think. Spikey ball on a stick. I got a sword. That girly sword from the Lord of the Rings movies, the one Liv Tyler Elf has. It's my first sword. We're adding it to the TARDIS closet arsenal (don't ask).
Anywho, when we came home, I had a Molly Weasley Jumper waiting for me. The one with the crazy sleeves that she wore in ... the second movie? ... one of the movies, not one of the ones she knits for everyone every year. I also had a Beware of Boggarts garden stake and some Christmas cards, so that was all awesome.
Oh, and I also had this:

Because I am awesome.
Anyway, I've got a huge list of things I want to work on, including knitting projects and two stories (one of which is the Exchange Bingo prize I've started working on for
bambu345), some graphic projects and trying to get some older fics re-beta'd so I can eventually post them on TPP (and Ashwinder for the two that aren't already there).
Also Pottermore is back online after some downtime and my holiday trip, so I've got some brewing to catch up on and I still need to figure out how dueling works.
Toodles.
