Okay, all you peeps who know who I am - I've got a favor to ask...
I need a new job. Really. Please, if you know of any thing in the Wamego, Manhattan, Marysville, Topeka or possibly Lawrence area that I am qualified for - e-mail me. Call me. Write me. Whatever.
I have enough time that I can be somewhat picky about finding a job and shouldn't end up at Arby's begging for scraps, but I need to start looking soon.
I'm willing to move back into Manhattan, if need be. Or to Marysville (where Kim says the cost of living is lower). Probably not Topeka because I can't afford it. Or Lawrence, unless it's a damn fine job.
I'm looking for something 9-5ish - Monday through Friday. I'd prefer not to work weekends. I'd also like to be able to sit down once in awhile as the eight hour days on my feet are starting to get old.
I'd rather do what I enjoy - typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, managing things, etc - but I'm willing to compromise as my current job is slowly leading me down a path to homicide.
Also, possibly looking for a new residence to go with this mythical new job. I need a bath tub, would like a washer/dryer, at least two bedrooms, allows pets, and (most important) does not cost more than I make in a month to rent.
Might even consider buying a house if the price is close enough to my range.
Help me. Please.
