Was woken up this morning by the realtor's office, letting me know the landlord wants a second opinion on the central air unit and was sending another person out to check it at eleven thirty.

She said, and this is a direct quote, "He wants to make sure he's not paying for anything more than he absolutely has too."

In the mean time, I've been without working air since Sunday and I live in Georgia. Yesterday, it was eighty degrees in my office until after dark, when it cooled down to a lovely seventy-seven.

I should consider myself lucky. The last two times I've had an AC break down on me, it was in the triple digits and I ended up having to put all the furballs in a kennel because they were dying. So far, they're just annoyed.

Yikes. That is just way too hot. I seriously do not know how the settlers survived; they had to do way more manual labor than I do and they had no AC. Obviously my ancestors were more kick-ass than I am.

I really hope he fixes it soon.
