Was woken up this morning by the realtor's office, letting me know the landlord wants a second opinion on the central air unit and was sending another person out to check it at eleven thirty.

She said, and this is a direct quote, "He wants to make sure he's not paying for anything more than he absolutely has too."

In the mean time, I've been without working air since Sunday and I live in Georgia. Yesterday, it was eighty degrees in my office until after dark, when it cooled down to a lovely seventy-seven.

I should consider myself lucky. The last two times I've had an AC break down on me, it was in the triple digits and I ended up having to put all the furballs in a kennel because they were dying. So far, they're just annoyed.

Second repair guy? Didn't even open the unit. Just walked to the back yard, wrote down the information on the side of the central air unit case and asked if it had been making noises. Then he said he had to talk to the landlord and that was it.

This? This is me, pissed off.

Another day wasted because my landlord is dicking around, trying not to pay to repair shit. This is just like when he took over a month (I had to call back several times) to fix the hole in the roof that was leaking into the kitchen and ruining the paint on the wall.

Dude, I know money is tight, but this is why I pay you a shit ton of money every month, so that you can afford to fix shit when it breaks.
