Much.

Okay, I'm lying.

Dear Mother Nature - Other people get headaches or mood swings when they stress out... WTF is up with jumping straight to the ice-picky stabby colon death? Thank goodness for muscle relaxants. Unfortunately, I take happy little pill and I catch myself staring at the laptop for an hour at a time, zoning off in my own little world, wasting time that could be spent doing all sorts of important things... that I then stress about because they're not getting done.

Vicious cycle, yes?

The Captain is coming home for R&R in a matter of weeks. This makes me happy. And vomitty.

He's totally not offended by that, because he knows me and he knows how I handle stress. I love him, and he knows that, but his coming home is causing me to freak out. I've got so many things to do, so many deadlines (real and self-imposed) and I'm not handling it as well as I should.

Normally I'd take an evening off, take a long bubble bath and read something with no redeeming academic value. I just realized tonight I haven't done that in over two weeks, because I haven't felt like I've had the time.

Finally, there is Tito, the neighbors rat dog who likes to sit outside my bedroom window going nuts at six am... for HOURS.

I hate that dog.
