Fic Award Nominee

I am sick. This weekend the sniffling started, and I didn't even notice. S had to point it out while I was running the Hunter game - "So, this guy, he's got the sniffles?" "Wha?" "You keep sniffling when he talks." "I do?" - then my throat started to hurt, but I figured that came from being the ST all weekend (nearly 20 hours of game spread over two days). Monday, it hurt more. Tuesday morning I woke up and could barely swallow, and my lemonade burned. BURNED. By Tuesday night I was pretty sure I was being wiped out by another damn summer cold (I get these things EVERY YEAR and HATE THEM). This morning I'm stuck being a mouth breather who sounds a bit like Vader, I can't cough up anything because I can't get enough force because my chest/ribs/abs already hurt too much, and my nose is clogged yet weeping. Lovely.

In less gross news, One Final Detention has been nominated for two awards at Quill to Parchment. "Because We Want It So: Best Fanon Het" and "One Shot" categories. There are lots of authors and pieces I recognize on the list, and I get all glowey seeing one of mine up there with the likes of scatteredlogic and shiv5468 and several others (if you haven't read (Scarborough Arithmancy by Lillithj, you really really should).
