I'm coming home... maybe

It seems there is a four day weekend coming to DH (I believe it's Veteran's Day?) and that means I may be going home, back to KS.

Okay, technically, it's not really home anymore. After all, 'Home is where the Army sends us' but it's where my friends and family are.

And I bet they'll let me sit in on a game or two. Gaming. I remember what that's like. Says the pathetic girl who has only been in her new house for exactly seven days. Seven long, I don't have anything unpacked cause it's been hell, days.

You have to appreciate a man who is willing to call you up during a five minute break at work (with his Army unit of less than a week standing close enough that you could hear them over the phone) and offer to pick up tampons because he remembered you were out.

That's love, right there.

Also, Loki has just discovered there is a bush in front of the office window. A bush with birds in it. OMG! BIRDIES!
