So sleepy

Of late, I've been passing out around nine in the evening (except on Sundays, when I struggle to stay awake until eleven so I can watch The Walking Dead), but Captain IM'd last night and kept me up until nearly midnight.

I did mention that he's gone already, didn't I?

Of course, since I stayed up late last night, I had to get up early this morning so I could get ready for the roofers to show up by eight. Which meant running around the house to catch three kitties who thought chasing time was a game so that I could shove them behind a closed door and out of the way, then I had to lure the dog into his kennel so he wouldn't go nuts when the roofers came in to fix the kitchen ceiling.

Anywho, here it is, nine in the morning, and I'm seriously considering a nap.

Also, the stuff they used to fix the kitchen ceiling is giving off some nasty-head-swimmy fumes, and since every window in the house has been painted/caulked shut by the owner, I'm starting to get a wee bit lightheaded.

Oh, noes! What happened to your roof/ceiling?

Just a small leak into the kitchen from the roof. Roofer guy said the vent on the roof had gone bad and they replaced it in less than half an hour. In theory that should take care of the current problem, but the entire roof needs to be replaced in the next few years and the owner of the house is trying to put it off for as long as possible.
