As most people on my flist seem to do, I try to keep my postings here a bit separate from my RL. I have RL friends on LJ, but they are people who *gasp* know my fannish little secrets. In other words, they know I write HP smut. When I do mention personal things, I tend to lock them down so that my RL name isn't clearly linked with my personal LJ or my Fic LJ. It's not that I don't want to be a nice, open person, but I've got some friends and family who just would not understand or approve of my double life again, HP smut also, sometimes, I like to rant about those anonymous friends and family in the privacy of my flock.
In other words, please don't post things I've got under flock to Facebook or Twitter or whatever. If I wanted my stuff posted there, I would have already crossposted it myself (as I sometimes do).
In other news, I've been knitting the Captain a Jayne Cobb hat from Firefly. It's a Christmas present, and he knows about it, and it's driving me batty because I have to use Magic Loop on the circular needles and I hate Magic Loop.
