I have deleted all traces (I think, I may have missed one, which would annoy me to no end) of my first HP fanfic attempt. All twenty-one chapters from both of the archives that I'd bothered to post it to.
My line of reasoning seems to involve the idea of someday reworking the basic premise of the story into a piece of original fiction, perhaps even a novel.
Original novel trumps half-finished, barely read fanfic that has been abandoned for several years, yes?
I think so, at any rate.
Deleting it from the archives is my way of giving myself permission to rip the story to shreds and make it all my own once more.
