When Captain was home, we decided to go to Carl's Jr. to snag something to eat (they had oreo mint shakes, shut up). Sarah and I had already discussed the possibility that Creepy Manager Guy might be there (since he usually is after nine, when Sarah gets her craving for a guacamole burger).

He was.

After we ordered, and got to our table - far away from the counter and the gaze of Creepy McCreeperson who was all "Fried zucchinis or chili cheese fries? I know you get one or the other, right?" like there is something wrong with ordering the same thing every time.

I like chili cheese fries, don't judge.

Anywho, we sit and my dear, naive husband looks at us both and asks, "What was so creepy about him? All he did was look at you, smile, and dared to remember what you like to order. How is that creepy?"

Of course neither one of us could come up with why he sets off the weirdo alarms, he just does.

So I resort to - "In the animal kingdom, direct eye contact and bared teeth are signs of aggression, I'm just saying." and go back to nibbling on my fries.

LOL

I am reading The Gift of Fear and according to the author, if someone is tripping your "weirdo" radar, there is a reason.

Now I really want a guacamole burger.
