devsgma and I were talking about a couple of characters (Snape and Hermione, in case you were wondering) that we'd been working with for a new RP that hasn't actually made it off the ground yet. Even though the game itself is currently going no where, there was a rather long thread that we'd been working on, where our two characters began to deal with what had happened in the aftermath of DH - you know, that whole "being dead" thing. It seemed like such a shame to waste all the hard work we'd already put in to their story...
And so the first chapter of "Beyond 84 Charing Cross Road" was born.
devsgma posted it under her account on Ashwinder, and I just posted it under mine at Digital Quill. It can also be found here on the darnedchild LJ.
I've never written a collaborative fic before, so this is something new and completely different for me. Devs is writing one character and I'm handling the other - and not the one I'm used to writing, either. Keep your fingers crossed that it's not completely OC, and that no one hates it.
