A quick update.

Spent a good chunk of Tuesday at the hospital (not as bad as it sounds, that's just where the doctor is, it's not like I was admitted or anything), which is only good in the sense that I've gotten a bit of knitting done. I won't go into the tests other than to say there are far better ways to spend a Tuesday afternoon.

Went back to the hospital on Wednesday for a shorter amount of time, more knitting.

The current diagnosis is: "I'm not sure what's wrong with you." Soooooo reassuring to hear that from a doctor, isn't it? He asked for a consult with this gastrowhatsit person who will also be doing the colonoscopy of discomfort and doom and ordered a round of tests - and now I wait to hear from Doctor Consultant Person so we can schedule more tests and the bumscope.

I would like to point out that I did NOT get any drugs for the pain and that has made me just a tiny bit cranky. Add that to the fact that even a four (on the one to ten pain scale they ask you about) can start to wear you down when it's a constant, never ending thing that has been going on for close to a week - not even mentioning the spikes of ICEPICKYDEATH that randomly pop up - and I'm not really getting much done other than sitting in bed watching cheesy, mindless horror movies and knitting.

Speaking of which - recently watched Night of the Living Dead 3D (I've seen worse remakes/re-imagings, and the 3D glasses didn't give me the headache I was expecting so bonus there. I believe rental places get the 2D version, so I may rent that to see the difference at some point.), Black Sheep (Mutant, flesh eating zombish sheep. How can that go wrong?), Severance (The trailer makes it out to be better than it is. Pretty amusing for the first half, then it turns into a bit of Hostel and I lost interest. I prefer my blood and guts to be amusing and/or have undead/mutant/monster bits, thanks.) and Fido (A touching tale about a boy and his dog zombie.).

Would totes recommend the sheep and Fido, two thumbs up! As a matter of fact, am putting both on my Amazon list.

You're still a braver woman than I. Watching cheesy, mindless horror movies is more than I can do, even if I am feeling good. I wimp out, cover my eyes and cringe until they disappear.

The only good thing I can find in all of this - at least it waited until after your birthday and maybe it'll be all cleared up by Halloween? Crossing fingers for you and toes too for that matter.

Roses and Monkey kisses.

Thanks. I keep missing you, which sucks, but I haven't been online much at all lately.

I have my suspicions on what it could be but I'm waiting to let the doctor figure it out before I say anything.
