Four Years with the Captain

June 1st, 2002 at noon, outdoors in a pretty little clearing, surrounded by close friends and family cptn_oblivious and I were married.

There were times I wasn't sure we'd make it a year, much less four... and much more there were the times when I knew that I will always need him in my life.

Enough with the mushy, I need to get some sleep so I can be bright eyed and female looking for dinner tonight. There shall be presents.

Good times, man. That means it's also the anniversary of Tessa and I waiting around and then seeing the terrifying badger-deer thing, and everyone running around in the trees in the dark, and the sword kerfluffle, and batteries! and unfortunate drunken confessions of a personal nature (not to forget the "Adam, you've got a bit puffy" sidebar) and much much talk about knots, and arranging things prettily, so prettily, upon silver trays, and kind-of-not-really dancing out at the shelter thing — OK, so maybe some of that doesn't sound like so much fun and/or didn't seem like it at the time, but trust me: those are some goooood memories.

Seriously.
