Katharina (Illyria)- A strong, willful blend with a soft, utterly lovely soul: white musk with a trickle of bright, sharp apricot and orange blossom. Not quite the complete and utter bliss of fresh March Hare, but nice. More muted I think. Dries down well.

Delirium (Bewitching Brews)- Non compos mentis, indeed! A contrary, conflicted scent, bubbling with merry madness. Contains apple, rose, and lemon. How could this not be fabulous? Very easily it seems. Right off the bat it's sort of a flowery lemon-scented furniture polish smell (also, it's on the tip of my nose so that's annoying). Seriously I'm getting a hint of diaper wipes here.

Vice (Sin & Salvation)- Voluptuous and indulgent! A deep chocolate scent, with black cherry and orange blossom. After the mess that was Bliss, I was a little weary of trying another chocolate scent, but this one is cut with something else (although I haven't had much luck with orange blossom either). It's hard to pick out the dominate smell because they seem to be working together to create something I quite like. It's candy, but I can't pinpoint just what kind, almost like cotton candy but not. Very definitely a sugary smell. I like it. I just figured out what it reminds me off - those hard coated candy eggs with the white non-cream filling you find in Easter baskets. I think I might end up with a 5ml of this at some point.

Severin (Love Potions)- Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, the Father of Masochism and sexual surrender, had planned on writing six volumes of erotic literature entitled The Heritage of Cain. Only the first two volumes were completed, the more famous of the two being the notorious Venus in Furs. This novel tells the tale of a man, Severin, that enters into a relationship of slavery and increasingly debauched degradation with his mistress, Wanda. Dry black teas, Earl Gray, and leather.Okay, I really wanted to try this simply because of the name. I read the BPAL forum thread about HP scents and the similarity between Severus/Severin. Keep in mind that I abhor tea, completely and utterly. Yet, I don't hate this. It's not on my list of favorites by any means and I wouldn't want a larger bottle but it's not bad. Just enough leather to keep me from feeling yucky with the tea. [livejournal.com profile] hrhjahi should try this one.

Next up: Dorian, Inferno, Lightning, Saint-Germain and possibly Whip if I can find a place to put it.

Cadbury Creme Eggs??

From: [identity profile] missmiah.livejournal.com

Not the chocolate creme eggs. These are cheap and bright colors (that may stain your teeth and tongue if I remember correctly). With this white stuff inside that not Marshmallow but sort of similar. I've been all over the web looking for them and I think they're like generic Easter egg candy. Not helpful, huh.
