In case you all have ever wondered what happens when a diabetic is unable to keep food down for more than a few days... the answer is it isn't pretty.

I'm not going to go into the details, I'll just let you know that my blood sugar dropped too low and my fear of needles has been compounded by an IV insertion that had to have been filmed for one of those "How not to do this" info blurbs for med students.

The important thing is I'm home now, I wasn't purposely ignoring anyone who called or pinged and I'm sorry I was unable to start/reply/plot any threads yesterday.

Again, I'm sorry for any inconvenience my absence may have caused.

Oh, M! *hugs*

Sorry you had to go through that. :-(

I know we can't do much from way up here, but if there is anything we CAN do, please let us know!

I've already been told I need a keeper. I do not disagree with this assessment, sadly.

Wow. That sounds awful. I'm sorry you had such a rough time, but I'm glad you overcame your fear and let the medical people work their magic on you so that you could recover.
