I managed a two hour nap this afternoon, but other than that pretty much been awake since... the day before yesterday at this point.
I'm waiting for the dog to settle down for the night and then I'm going to try again to get some sleep. on the plus side in the last week I've watched almost the entire first season of the Nanny on DVD.
Since I'm not going to KS, I now have the nearly overwhelming urge to shop. There are a few DVDs I've been trying to find for years and Barnes & Nobles has them on their on-line site. Also, the newest Sim2 expansion is due out in September and if I pre-order it from EA Games (or a few other merchants like Gamestop) through the Sims2 site I can get the code for a downloadable Maxis made Sims2 car.
I feel I should point out that I have yet to actually play the Sims2 because my old computer died before I could give it a go and then I've been so busy with Afterglow and Lightning I don't have time to sit around for hours on designing buildings and playing house with my Sims. And that is a damn shame cause I loved the first Sims (which I have loaded on the computer including my Harry Potter content).
Moral of the story, I'm probably going to go ahead and pre-order the Nightlife expansion so I can get the car, even though I've never actually played the game, just because I'm OCD about these things.
In shoe news, I finally unpacked several moving boxes of shoes and threw a bunch away. DH will be pleased. I'm down to just over 25 pair. Six of them are not black. And yes, I do have four pair of the exact same black flat (in three different sizes) still. Just bugger off and stay away from my shoes.
Loki goes to the vet in the morning, I'm guessing another UTI. His third diagnosed in less than six months. He's on a special diet ($5 a pound for the food) for life already. He's also back into expressing his unhappiness with life by peeing on doors. The dog is still insane. And the other cat is fairly normal except for her strange habit of trying to bite off the buttons on my shirts and dresses.
