Which is odd because I have loads to do. Photoshop projects out the... erm, rear. Character histories to work on. Threads to pre-write. House to clean and unpack.
I just finished one project, updating the look of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
quibbling, and now I feel like I should celebrate. Which usually either means eating at Shogun or shopping. Since I have no one to eat with (silly friends not wanting to make 14 hour round trips to come eat with me - I said I'd buy) I have the most unholy urge to buy DVDs.
I've managed to control the urge for weeks now (although I did just get a replacement Beastmaster and a copy of Enemy Mine because I told myselfcptn_oblivious would like to own them, and that it really had nothing to do with Marc Singer in a loin cloth at all), which is good because every time I loiter in the DVD section at the Volde-Mart I can't remember if I already own that one or not and since the purge/move/surprise gifting I can't remember what I have. So I broke down and unpacked four boxes of VHS and DVDs and am in the middle of alphabetizing. Soon my last excuse will be gone. Already I'm trying to convince myself that it would be so much cooler to order a copy of Dogma directly from View Askew and possibly get it signed by Kevin Smith then to just buy it used at Hastings.
So not only do I want to buy things, I want to buy things for full price for no real reason. *headdesk*

It's... it's like those crackwiches from Burger King with the croissant and the sausage and egg and you can't not eat it because OMG it's so good and then you want another one but no you try to deny yourself but you can't because it's crack on a croissant... it's like that. Or like passing a train wreck.
