I ditched unpacking (if you can call opening one box to look for bedding so [livejournal.com profile] rewil can have something to sleep on unpacking) and RPing and working on Photoshop Elements and paying bills and all that other stuff that I would normally have been doing today... and went out.

Yes, I left the house. I even left the city.

[livejournal.com profile] rewil and I went to OKC to get copies of Making Love the Bruce Campbell Way, signed by the man himself. He also signed my brand new copy of If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor. Yes Kiddies, I met Bruce Campbell today.

Damn, he's cute. I mean, seriously cute. With his glasses and slightly floppy hair. And he's funny. And smart. And I want to have his babies. Did I mention he's hot in a hawt geek sort of way? DH, if you're reading this, I love you and I think if you'd been there, you'd want to have his babies too, you know, if it was possible.

Managed to get a copy of the Dan Band CD. Which rocks.

Then [livejournal.com profile] rewil and I caught a late night showing of Land of the Dead which was teh suck as promised and I loved it. Because I love crappy cheesy horror movies. We both squealed loudly when Zombie!Tom Savini showed up in an extra-chomping cameo.

And we came back to the house to find everything as we left it, no break-ins, no dead pets, no fires, floods or plagues of vermin... so that was a yay. The puppy even managed to hold it all day and didn't poo until after he'd gone for a walk (and tinkled and smelled every blade of grass between the house and the end of the block, which I walked down at midnight and is something I never would have attempted in the old neighborhood) and been put back in his room. So, yeah, his timing is a bit off, but he made an effort.
