Have given my official notice of intent to leave this hell hole rental property. Which, coincidentally enough, has become the object of a foreclosure suit as of the sixth of May.
Which... *evil grin* made my intention to get a new place and transfer my security deposit intact much easier.
Found a house. A duplex, really. $100 more a month but it's got three bedrooms, two baths, a double garage, central air, a fireplace, electric stove, laundry room, a yard (with a fence that needs to be repaired but they assure me they will get it done) that is two minutes away from one of the gates to the Base.
It would be nice if I hear from my husband before the move so he knows where I live when he comes home.
The current tenants don't leave until the 2nd of June. The realtor normally adds a week to clean up before a new tenant is allowed in. I told them I want the house ASAP and they can clean around my stuff.
In other news - thanks to Mom, I now own two skirts in a size that I haven't been able to wear in over 8 years. And they fit. A little tight around the pockets, but they fit.

And aren't moms the greatest? My mommy bought me two new dresses last week...I love you Mom!(and mine are in a size i havent worn in...uh...15 years)
