Had my first "Are you sure you're only carrying one?" comment today, from a little older lady, of course, who also made a point to let me know she was pretty sure I was having a boy because I was carrying my weight so wide. Also, apparently, it's pretty noticeable that the Demon Spawn has dropped because she mentioned that it looked like I was ready to go anytime now because he was carrying so low.
Yep. Old lady just told flat out told me I was looking huge... in the nicest possible "you're pregnant and I'm old" way she could.
THEN, we took the car into the dealership because the AC thing was broken. AGAIN. And when we were paying the lady behind the counter mentioned that it looked like I'd be having my kid soon because he was riding awful low.
So that's two strangers in one day commenting on how I'm carrying the baby weight.
I'd be annoyed but I'd kind of freaked myself out looking in a mirror the other day when I noticed the same thing. Bump used to be directly under the boobs, bump is now much lower. If I tighten my abs (HA), I can make the bump bounce up and down a little bit, which is freakish to watch, honestly, and I haven't volunteered to show Captain yet because creepy.
Also, in the "taking the car to the dealership" news, I got to talk to the manager because I Was Not Happy.
Anyway, supposedly the car is fixed now (HA) and it only cost us another $265, but it was going to be another $90ish in addition to that before I got pissy about it, so it could have been worse. I got 50% off the labor and 10% off the part (which was not the same part we had replaced in June because there was no way in heck I would have been paying to replace that thing), and we're back under another 12 month warranty.
However, the car repair did put a damper on my plans to maybe buy some nail polish from Sephora for my birthday, since I had to buy myself a new blower motor instead. I did get to go out to the Japanese Steakhouse I like for dinner, and some of of our friends joined us, so that was awesome.
Eat all the fried rice!
