Felt like butt all day yesterday, didn't even want to smell food when it came time to start dinner.
Captain, being the nice person that he is, totally understood so we waited awhile to see if I'd feel good enough to eat later - which I did, I guess? Anyway, since we're both a pair of idiots and because it sounded strangely tasty even thought I know better, I agreed to getting some Taco Bell for dinner.
Honestly, I suspect I was distracted by the way my new phone makes lightsaber noises when I wave it around.
Anyway, things were fine for a bit, took my evening meds, and I started to think the worst was over.
HAHAHAno.
My darling husband has been trained well (it only took nine years, I'm not kidding) and when he saw me slip into the bathroom clutching the barf bowl, he apparently went off to find a back up bowl and then knocked on the door five or so minutes later to see if I needed to switch out yet. Then he very gallantly ran off with the grossness and I don't even care what he did while he was gone because he came back with a nice and clean and non-smelly Original barf bowl because it's my favorite.
Assuming you can have a favorite thing to throw up in.
Trust me, I went to bed not long after, only to be woken up at some point in the night because I was coughing and choking up stomach acid and OMG that burns so bad. Captain heard me choking, hopped out of bed and got me a glass of water and then some antiacids before I even managed to wake up enough to realize I wasn't wearing my glasses.
Then it was back to sleep until Captain's alarm (which sounds a bit like either a sub getting ready to dive or an air raid siren and is mega-annoying, but I think that's the point) went off just before four and now I'm awake.
Which sort of sucks. BUT, he leaves for work very soon and I'm going right back to bed after I get something to drink.
Am taking today off to recover from grossness. KTHANXBYE.
