Nominations for Round Three of the SS/HG Awards are now being accepted.
To be eligible, fics must have begun posting -somewhere- after July 21, 2007 and before July 21, 2008. Categories can be found here.
Following in the example of some of my flist, I'll go ahead and post links to the two fics that I wrote that might be eligible for this round.
First is my Winter 2007 exchange fic - While You Were Sleeping - Originally written as a gift for annietalbot from the winter 2007 sshg_exchange - Death was supposed to set him free, one way or another, not leave him trapped in his own shattering mind and only the voice of Hermione Granger for a distraction.
As to the second, I'm not even sure it qualifies, honestly. Temptation was written as a companion piece to a much older drabbley thing, and posted in late February of this year. I consider it a separate story all on its own, a look at the events from a different POV, but because of its length and relationship to the earlier piece most archives list it as a second chapter.

AND - to make this post just a bit less of a complete and utter commercial for MissMiah, I finished a scene on my exchange fic around five am, and in the hour after I woke up this afternoon (after only four hours of sleep, thank you ringing phone and obnoxious pets) I managed to work out the very basics of how to finish the story in my head. Brief outline has been written up and there is a coherent end in sight. Now it becomes a race to November 14th, will I be able to get those remaining scenes written in time, or will I be forced to fall to my knees and beg for forgiveness from the exchange mods and the evil Eye of Shiv... *cue suspenseful music here*
