Not going to KS for Halloween - confirmed.
Have had a dull headache since I managed to connect the corner of the hall bookcase to the area right above my left eyebrow. Very hard. At least two days ago. Cause I'm graceful like that.

hrhjahi might claim I "assembled" it but there were twelve chunks of wood and some of them did not have pre-drilled holes for the screws and there was manual labor involved. So I built it. I had to put it together inside the dog run because there was no way this nearly four foot long log cabin would fit through the gate. Also, they claim it's three simple steps, but they lie. Step one is attach the four feet with 8 screws AND attach all four walls to each other and the feet. Step two is install the floor (that one was easy). Step three is screw the roof on.
Did I mention this sucker is made out of wood? As in that crap that makes me feel all skeevy when I touch it? Picture this - Miah out in the dog run, having just spent ten minutes pooper scooping the enclosure and chucking poo over the side of the fence so that I could have a relatively clean area to work, preparing to open the Box O' Cabin Bits. In a jean skirt, sweater and sandals and pulling on the only gloves I could find - the lovely green dress gloves I wore inperkygothess's wedding. Armed only with a screwdriver, a pocket knife and those gloves I managed to put together Colonel Brandon's new outdoor home.
And the dog won't go near it.
